After graduating from The University of Charleston, as a co-valedictorian with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, I undertook the task of setting up and managing a Surgeon's office for over 20 years which provided me with hands on experience operating a small business.
Later, wishing to fulfill my lifetime dream of helping others, I decided to utilize my background and educational training. After completing the curriculum and passing the Series 7 and Series 66 exams for the NASD Securities Registration, I joined Equitable Advisors as a Financial Consultant. I have also successfully completed the financial planning coursework and have passed the CFP® Certification examination, along with obtaining the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation.
My primary goal is to help my clients navigate their way through the confusing array of financial choices available to them, in an absolutely honest and forthright manner while treating them with the utmost courtesy and respect. I sincerely believe in educating my clients about the pros and cons of different options and letting them make their own choices.
I have been awarded the title of Retirement Planning Specialist by Equitable Advisors based on the receipt of a Wharton Certificate in Retirement Planning.
I am very keen about giving back to the community and have played a major role in key fund raising events for local chariites.
Certificate awarded based on completion of a training program at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. CFP® and CERTFIFED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM are certification marks owned by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. These marks are awarded to individuals who successfully complete the CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
